Our Sunday school children in D’kar
Every Sunday there are activities to keep the Sunday school children busy. We have a shortage of Sunday school teachers. The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Still we are grateful for those who are helping us.
For the very little ones, coloring remains an attraction. In that way, they are exposed to Bible stories and questions are asked. Even if they don’t always understand what the Bible is about, they are excited and eager to go to church. This creates an environment for them in which they grow up.
The older children ones are more exposed to the solid food of the Gospel. Books that we receive from time to time help a lot to make the work understandable. They are our future church in which we invest, even if one does not always realize it.
With this, your intercession is asked for our children and a person involuntarily thinks of the words of our Lord Jesus in Matthew 19:14: “Let the little children stand and do not prevent them from coming to Me; for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven.”
